Bookings

Gift cards and e-Gift cards

Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards can be redeemed towards any Hale service or product. Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash. Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for any other legal tender (cash, EFTPOS, credit card or gift card). Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards are the equivalent of cash. If lost or stolen, cards will not be replaced. Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards are non-refundable. Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards will come with a 3-year expiry date from the date of purchase. Expired Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards do not retain any value. Hale reserves the right to change services and service prices without notice, any difference in price will need to be paid by the client at time of appointment. Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards must be presented upon arrival. Cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment may result in a cancellation fee being charged to the Gift Card(s) or e-Gift Card(s).

Before your visit

Parking

There is parking located from our Macquarie street entrance. If you do find parking on the premises (Hotel Guest Parking) you need to provide us with your vehicle registration number. Alternatively there is 2 hour parking located on Macquarie street, or Belmore Gardens which is Public Government Car Park (2 hours). Clients are more than welcome to Park at Hotel Realm Wilson Carpark which is paid parking.

Arrival time for appointment

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment. This will allow us to ensure you are relaxed, have time to fill out your client card if you already haven’t prior to arrival, and be properly consulted and ready to make the most of your experience. Late arrivals will still finish on time so that we do not inconvenience the next client. You will be charged the scheduled fee as per the original booking.

 

For all appointments 60 minutes or more please arrive 45 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. This is offered complimentary for treatments that are 60 minutes or more. Appointments that are 30 or 45 minutes you will not have access to the facilities. If you do wish to use the facilities you are more than welcome to pay $69 and book in for a Wellness Pass to use the Plunge pool, Sauna and Steam room.

What do I need to bring

Your own swimmers are required for use of the Plunge pool, Sauna and Steam room. Towels and amenities are provided.

Health conditions

Please inform us at the time of booking of any medical or health conditions, allergies or injury.

Pregnancy

It is important that you advise us of your pregnancy at time of booking. Pregnancy massage will require you to be in your second trimester (at least 13 weeks), while others may not be suitable for pregnant guests. Please note that our pregnancy massages are a light to medium pressure, we do not perform firm pregnancy massages.

Cancellation policy

If you are unable to make your appointment, we require 24 hours notice for all bookings scheduled Monday to Friday, and 48 hours notice for all bookings scheduled on weekends. If you cancel or make any changes within this time you will be charged 50% of the booking total to the credit card provided when making your reservation. This policy includes gift voucher bookings, which will then be deemed void. We require 72 hours notice for all group bookings of three or more people.

Minimum Treatment Age

Adolescents from the age of 12 to 17 are welcome to enjoy a selection of treatments with the permission and supervision of a parent, guardian or caregiver who must sign the consent form and be present for the entirety of the treatment, our plunge pool, sauna and steam room are not included for children under the age of 18. We do not perform treatments on children under the age of 12.

During your visit

How long should I allow

We encourage you to make the most of your appointment. If you are booked for a treatment 60 minutes or more please allow 45 minutes prior to your treatment time to use the facilities and 30 minutes post treatment to relax in the lounge.

Wellness pass

A Hale Wellness pass allows you access to the Hale Spa Plunge Pool, Sauna and Steam room. The pass is available for use during the Spa operating hours and bookings are essential. Please be advised that guests must be 18 years or older to use these facilities.

Spa etiquette

Hale Spa prides itself on providing a relaxing environment where you can escape the stresses of the outside world. To ensure everyone’s time with us is relaxing, we ask that you please understand and respect the quiet enjoyment and privacy of all of our guests. To ensure the comfort and relaxation of all guests, please keep all noise to a bare minimum (we ask that you keep all devices switched off or on silent mode). Please note that children are not permitted in the Spa lounge or treatment rooms.
